And later on becoming friends with Nanami and Masafumi Takeuchi as well. She is the only one Yano can rely on during his times of hardships. She could not bring herself to confess her love for Yano. She had grown feelings for Yano even though Aki-chan knows that Yano loves Nanami, and he just sees her as a friend. She became Yano's classmate when he transferred school in Tokyo from Hokkaido leaving Nanami behind. Her nose is thin, from the front the tip curves up looking child-like and cute, from the side it. Nanami is a very pretty girl who has an innocent, sweet and cute look with short carrot orange hair that is usually up in different hairstyles (high bun, down, braids, etc), big, beautiful milk chocolate eyes. Akiko "Aki" Sengenji (千見寺 亜希子 Sengenji Akiko) is Motoharu Yano's former classmate from Tokyo who is also in love with him, but she is well aware of the fact that he only sees her as a friend. Nanami invites a reluctant Yano to her house to spend some time together, and she takes the chance to ask Yano about his past.
